A tiny bit from one of the stories: "The Doctor's Glass" Sometime in the mid 1850's the Minter family, which included two or three brothers and their families, arrived in Owsley County. It is thought that Dr. Wilson Harmon Glass and his wife came with them since he had married the daughter of Arthur Minter while they were still living in Virginia.
